A Jewish family, that just arrived in a new neighborhood, are recording their youngest son's birthday celebrations on video when their home is suddenly invaded by a bunch of crystal-meth-crazed Neo-Nazi lunatics.

A masterpiece of independent horror!

Cheap scares? Nope. Amateur CGI? Nope! Tired ideas? Nope!!! A potent blend of home invasion and found footage? YES! What horror fans wanted to see instead of the usual regurgitation of remakes and sequels? YES! Hilariously juxtaposed one liners? YES :-) All that with a very serious undertone and sadly, all too realistic portrayal the dark side of human nature in the form of three psychotic Neo Nazis.

The first few moments of Hate Crime were relatively positive and contrasted so strongly with the carnage that followed, it doubled the impact. I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing(humiliation, gleeful murder, torture, rape...) and how quickly, heartlessly and, most probably, realistically things deteriorated into absolute hell.

The carnage doesn't stop and not once did I pause it, my eyes were glued from beginning to end. Once the credits rolled, the hair stood up on the back of my neck...I was genuinely blown away, I'd just experienced a masterpiece of independent cinema. This is a must see for all fans of the extreme!
