Walter calls the truck-company to complain. The driver gets fired. When Walter arrives to the apartment-block where he has rented a flat he meets the choleric landlord William and the others living there. But now the problems starts. The next morning somebody has ruined his drawing and Harrison dislikes what Walter has drawn. But soon everything gets out of hand. Walter gets into more trouble - one morning he finds rats all over his apartment and the next day he finds his beautiful neighbor killed in his bed - and he starts to think that it is the fired truck driver who is out to get revenge.

Brilliant, absurd black comedy!!!!

"Living in peril" was a brilliant, enjoyable, wonderfully silly experience. I loved every minute of it and I can't understand people who don't like it. Calm and stylish Rob Lowe was simply terrific in the amusing role of Walter Woods but rest of the cast was certainly even better, spectacular I should almost say. Jimmy Belushi made an incredibly clever, wicked and cool performance and Dean Stockwell was funny as hell. Patrik Ersgård (one of the scriptwriters, by the way) as a lunatic German bloke Dieter was one of the most memorable and craziest characters and it's hard to forget his pal Fritz either. Insane plot, undisguised violence, eccentric characters and dark yet absolutely hilarious humor. This is exactly what black comedies should look like! Great movie!
